چکیده
This paper proposed enhancing the bandwidth of a millimeter wave microstrip patch antenna (MPA) and its array for 5G mobile communication network. The is designed fabricated on Rogers RT Duroid 5,880 substrate with standard thickness 0.5 mm, relative dielectric constant 2.2, tangent loss 0.0009. With center frequency 28 GHz, measured return -21.37 dB, 1.14 gain 6.27 dBi, single element operates in local multipoint distribution service band. manufactured as an 1×2 1×4 elements. 2-element MPA has 1.207 GHz 7.76 higher than that element. 4-element achieved 2.685 9.87 which single-element arrays at GHz. demonstrates antennas improves significantly. Hence, are suitable networks due to their small size.

متن کاملEnhancement of Bandwidth in Microstrip Patch Antenna using EBG
This paper presents the bandwidth and gain enhancement of microstrip patch antenna using EBG for X band (10 Ghz) application. The surface waves must be suppressed to increase the bandwidth and gain by using EBG. By using EBG the stop band characteristics is created over certain frequency and that has been adapted to suppress the surface wave and to enhance the gain and bandwidth of the antenna ...
